Conditions: Early on in the life cycle of the 442 the Olds guys decided to create the "W" code options many were more cosmetic to enhance the visual appeal of the performance oriented cars but when they created the W30 option code for the 442 they raised the bar. The added performance of the Ram Air setup, larger valves and more aggressive cam brought the engine performance to an all new level. Add to that the lightening of the front end with throwing away the steel inner fender liners and installing the, very cool, red plastic and bam dad's Oldsmobile became a monster on the street. The interior is neat as pin along with under the hood and in the trunk. The underside is clean and solid and it runs and works great. The 455 is strong and sounds awesome and the Turbo 400 trans shifts great. Olds wasn't thought a leader in Muscle Cars but this one earned respect.
