Ok, selling my 1996 civic ex 4 door. It is a 5spd manual with a little over 148k miles on it (not a lot). All original, stock condition. Has an infinity aftermarket sound system which includes speakers, deck that plays ipods, an infinity sub and is amped with a powerbass amp. Cost around 1100 alone. Car is in GREAT shape for the year. Inside is 9/10 and body is conservatively 7/10, only because there is some mild paint fading and scratches that come with the age. body is straight which is hard to find. gets over 33 MPG AVERAGE!. I used it for commuting. PLEASE READ NEXT PART CAREFULLY!! The only problem with this civic is the transmission bearing! it is worn and needs to be replaced! it is very drivable however makes an annoying noise in first and second gear and progressively quiets down as you climb the gears but it is not unbearable. None existent in neutral or with the clutch in. everything still shifts smooth and all gears work like they should. Spark plugs, oil and filter and a new k&n drop in filter was added 2 weeks ago. It has power windows and locks and has keyless entry. There are new tires on the car that have an 80k mile warrenty. Timing belt was done at 100k miles so it wont need to be done for another 50k and have the paperwork for it as well as for other previous services. have the service manual as well. clutch is in good shape. everything is great besides bearing. I have NEVER had any proplems with this car. i love it but i no longer need to commute.
